Job Specification

  • Oversee all aspects of running a successful pick, pack, ship, and palletised warehouse
  • To be the first point of contact for all staff/workers within the warehouse
  • Ensuring all the deliveries in are accurately and safely handled into the facility and received via the WMS system
  • Perform regular stock audits and reporting, to verify that the physical stock matches the system records
  • Creating sales and KPI reports in Excel, analysing data to ensure the efficient operation of the Warehouse and ensuring that the WMS system is functioning efficiently when there are stock issues
  • Ensure that stock/bin locations are managed effectively to maximise efficiency and accuracy, as well as maximising the storage space
  • Ensure that the warehouse space is clean and tidy, as well as a being a safe environment for all staff, visitors and equipment adhering to all Health and Safety policies.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years stock control, inventory management experience, including using a PC
  • Have existing knowledge and experience using a handheld scanner for picking orders and stock movement processes
  • Have experience leading a small team
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally via the telephone and via email / Microsoft teams
  • Experience with using and maintaining WMS processes
  • Be prepared to be hands on during peak periods throughout the year
  • Prepared to visit other locations

Desirable:

  • Bendi forklift license
  • IOSH managing safely or equivalent
  • Working with a high volume of SKU’s
  • Have knowledge of NetSuite WMS systems
  • Understanding and knowledge of 5’s and the importance
  • Full UK driving license

Hours

  • Working 37.5 hours per week - 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday – on occasion, some flexibility is required around these hours, workload depending.
